Narrabeen Playground
Sculpture installations and stone block walls
This notable Pittwater council playground project is located in the heart of Narrabeen. Consisting of sculpture installations and stone walls.
The initial shapes were formed off site at my northshore workshop, we then transported the sculptures to be finished in-situ in conjunction with the walls and other pieces.
The client was pleased with the final product and the site was launched with an official opening celebration which included VIP’s from the local community, as well as the kids!

Collaroy Retaining Walls
Precision large block walls with no joints or mortar.
This was a large project of retaining walls using stone that was recycled from existing walls on the property. The large blocks were all re cut and shaped into perfectly squared off blocks which were then used to form the new precision walls with no joints or no visible mortar.
The result is a stunning entrance to the property.
Curl Curl Beach
Blurring the line between home and garden.
It was a complete job done over 12 months from the very start to the finish.
We used the stone from the old house to do freestanding walls around the entire boundary, then out the front made a series of retaining walls for a complete native garden with stairs and pathways to soften the house impact and protect the timber panels from the western sun.
Dubbo Gecko
Council project public park
Completed: Aug 2011
This is one of my largest personal projects.
It started with a 9 tonne from Gosford Quarries, one of their biggest blocks.
It was transported to Dubbo and placed in its final position, the photos show the progression and was finished off with a sandstone sealer to highlight its intense banding pattern.
It is surrounded by a hedge to make it a secret feature to be stumbled upon.

The photo to the left shows my son Harry sitting atop the sculpture in early 2018. Revisiting the park with the landscaping and plants now established, the gecko has found its place beautifully with the garden.
Bilarong Reserve Playground
Council project public park
Bilarong Reserve is located just off Wakehurst Parkway, with spectacular views of Narrabeen Lagoon.
An extensive grouping of wonderful sculpture installations sit within the playground area, to be climbed on and explored by the children.
